Into the Wild

I recently read Jon Krakauer's Into the wild, then read 徐崖客. I can't say I enjoyed Krakauer's story of Chris McCandless much, nor did I think much of McCandless, but there's an odd similarity with the story of 徐崖客, the child of a concubine who his father was going to kill at the urging of his step-mother. So Xu was also betrayed by his father and left to go into the wild, where he found decent "creatures."

Occidentals Spit on Prostitutes

In occidental countries there are many prostitutes. The customers set out liquor and summon the prostitutes and remove their lower garments, then surround them and spit saliva on their vulvas, but don't have sex with them. When they are finished spitting they pay them, and call it "everyone's pocket money".
